Global Engineering and Materials, Inc. (GEM) was recently awarded an engineering service contract by the FDH Engineering to perform frequency analysis of pre-tensioned steel rods embedded within a concrete structure. Numerical simulation results will be compared with tests conducted by FDH. Sensitivity of system parameters on the eigen modes and frequencies will be examined during this study.
